When Silence Becomes Prayer
This is not just about destruction. It is about faith that refused to die even when surrounded by genocide.
It is about people who smiled through ashes, who whispered Alhamdulillah while the world turned away.
It is about Gaza — a land that teaches the living what it truly means to believe.
A Moment of Hope
On October 9, 2025, when the ceasefire news finally reached Gaza, the land that had been burning for months fell into a silence the world had forgotten existed.
For the first time in years, the night sky was not glowing with fire but with the faint light of hope. The air carried no sound of bombs — only the cries of relief, the whispered prayers, and the trembling joy of a people who survived what was meant to erase them.
Voices of Survival
The videos coming from Gaza after the ceasefire were unlike anything the world had seen in years. Journalists, survivors, women, and children stepped out from the ruins with voices trembling, eyes shining, and hearts finally breathing again.
The air was filled with Takbeer, with chants of faith, with cries that carried both joy and pain.
Those sounds were not of victory in battle — they were of survival, of gratitude, of life itself returning to a people who have lived too close to death for far too long. Every smile, every lifted hand, every whispered Alhamdulillah was a prayer in motion.
Smiles Against All Odds
For once, their faces were not lit by fire but by relief.
Children smiled, some shyly, some as if learning how to smile again.
Women held their children close, tears and laughter flowing together.
Men looked at the sky with quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, they could wake up tomorrow and still see their families alive.
It is the most beautiful sight — humbling the heart and silencing the tongue. They endured what no soul should bear, yet when the bombs stopped, the first thing they did was thank Allah. That is faith beyond explanation.
Let us not question their joy. Let us not disturb their moments of peace with debates, doubts, or politics. These smiles are sacred. They are a miracle after years of darkness.
The Weight Behind Every Smile
Never forget, O world — the people smiling today are standing upon the rubbles of homes, of memories buried under dust, of families they may never see again.
They are hurt. They are wounded. They are lost. Yet they smile. They thank Allah. They say Alhamdulillah while standing on the graves of their dreams.
This is not the smile of comfort — it is the smile of faith. Their hearts are bleeding, but their faith is unshaken. Their tears are still warm, but their tongues still remember their Creator.
A Reminder for Us All
Allah is watching. He sees every tear, every loss, every child who sleeps without a roof, every mother who still whispers prayers into the cold night. And He is the Best of Planners.
We witnessed their suffering as audience. We cried over the scenes they lived through. We criticised the people responsible for their pain. We protested. We shouted. But all that we did is not even a particle of the dust they are going through.
May we hope to be forgiven by them.
May Allah forgive us and have mercy on us on the Day of Judgment.
We, as an Ummah and as humans, failed those children, those men and women of unbreakable faith.
Prayers for Gaza 🤲🕊️🍉
O Allah
Bless the children of Gaza. Keep their hearts safe. Restore their homes and grant them life in peace.
Forgive the martyrs of this genocide. Grant them the highest gardens of Jannah and fill their graves with light.
Guide the survivors as they rebuild their lives. Heal their wounds. Strengthen their hearts. Grant them courage, patience, and hope.
Forgive our shortcomings. Help us stand for justice and mercy. Guide our Ummah to awaken to Your path and embody patience, faith, and sincere action.
Because Gaza is not just a place — it is a lesson. Even under genocide, faith can still bloom. Even in destruction, hearts can still find light. And when silence finally returns to the sky, it can sound like prayer.
We apologise to the children of Gaza and all the people who have endured unimaginable suffering.
We ask Allah for forgiveness for our failures and shortcomings.
May He have mercy upon us and upon them.
May Allah grant the martyrs the highest rewards in Jannah.
May He protect the survivors as they rebuild their lives, guide them to peace, and heal their hearts.
May Allah grant us sincere repentance on the Day of Judgment and guide us to uphold justice, compassion, and faith in every action.
🤲Aameen Ya Rabbul Aalameen
